Lodge Oakland is an at-home pension sitting at the base of Mt. Kurohime on the northern edge of Nagano Prefecture. In the near vicinity, you will find wonderful ski slopes for skiing and snowboarding, as well as a well organized athletics facility. For sports oriented people this area has whatever you need and some of the best snow in Japan during the winters.

There are many different facilities around the hotel, some of the nearest (within 5 minutes) are Kurohime Snow Park, Myoko Suginohara Ski Slope, Kurohime Athletics Field.
